Twelve Days of Christmas: The Holy Innocents

If I say, “Surely the darkness shall cover me,
and the light about me be night,”
even the darkness is not dark to you;
the night is bright as the day,
for darkness is as light with you.

Psalm 139:11-12

Try as I may, the omniscience of God is impossible to escape from. A suicide bomber tried to take this away from a group of Shia Muslims today in Kabul. Sadly, they took the lives of many, including the lives of the Holy Innocents. The children. Death does not get the last word, and neither does terrorism. Where man places darkness, God is light.

Today’s practice was pre-planned, but seems to be very fitting today.

Pray for children around the world.
